About
Ashleigh grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia before making the risky move to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a professional actor.
Her love for performing began at the tender age of three, when she donned a lamb costume for the local Christmas cantata. Her turn as a barn animal promptly ended when she ran down the center aisle crying for her mother and announcing that she needed to go to the bathroom. She has since acquired some training.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory, and made NYC her new home. She has been in and out of the city ever since, on contracts and excursions that have brought from the deserts of the Middle East to the mountains of West Virginia to the seas of Southeast Asia. She believes that her experience and exposure greatly enriched her ability, and intensified her need, to tell stories.
Ashleigh believes in pursuing truth, fighting for equality, shedding light in dark places, and using art to positively impact our world.
